Materials and build quality

The central shaft runs on a heavy sealed bearing set in a concrete base. Platforms are steel with an anti-slip top, seats and animal figures are FRP, and the deck sits low with no open gap underneath where feet could get caught.

Planning your merry go rounds

A merry go round needs a level, clear circle around it, roughly 2 m wider than the platform on every side, with no other equipment or benches in that zone. Seat type and animal MGRs suit children under eight; standing and hanging MGRs suit older children. Ask for hand grips at every seat position and a speed that children can control by pushing.
