LLDPE multiplay stations use UV-stabilised plastic that holds its strength and colour much better than ordinary plastic, and stays cooler to touch than metal. For hot and sunny sites
We suggest lighter colours, roofs over the decks and, where possible, placing the unit where buildings or trees give afternoon shade. Steel parts are powder coated and kept away from areas children touch most.
Material, finish and installation
Frames are made from steel pipe that is cut, welded, cleaned and powder coated at our works. Slides, roofs and panels are FRP (fibreglass) or roto-moulded LLDPE with UV-stabilised colours, and all bolts are capped so no sharp ends are left in reach of children. Our technicians assemble the unit on site, fix the posts in concrete footings and check every joint before handover.
